Finnish food-processing company Atria was one of the biggest accounts I worked on while employed as an Art Director at HST and Endero. I worked on projects for three sectors of Atria's operations: initially I worked on the Atria Group Plc side, working on a site redesign and the group's annual reports. I gradually moved to the B2C side, which saw me producing marketing sites for Atria products and events. My third area of design responsibility for was the HoReCa side (Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Professionals), where I had the opportunity to design a dedicated web service as well as competition sites and online recipe books, etc.
Working on this challenging and rewarding account was a really great experience, as it allowed me a fair amount of creative freedom and the opportunity to really grow into my role as art director. My responsibilities included, in addition to art direction, concept design and the production of visual materials for digital platform, including websites, animations, games and recipe collections. I even made a screensaver once.
The Atria account was responsible for two professional highlights: The first came when the Atria team were given the digital responsibilities for a share issue, which was a great success for the company, and worked to futher solidify our agency's relationship with Atria. The second highlight for this account was the 2007 Annual Report, which which was based around a narrative going through the various sections of the site rather than pure numerical data (although, the number-crunchers were taken into account as well.) This annual report received a WebAward for Oustanding Achievement in Website Development, Investor Relations Standard of Excellence.
