When I was 12 years old, heavily inspired by my insatiable appetite for Garfield and Calvin and Hobbes comics, I decided to start drawing some for myself. One three-panel strip per day and a six-panel "weekend" strip on Saturdays. I was convinced that I wanted to become a professional cartoonist, and so I kept up with this strict regimen for surprisingly long. It wasn't until I discovered the electric guitar that my dedication to cartoon drawing took its first knock.

Fast-forward 20 years: ink and paper have given way to Illustrator and Photoshop, but the same passion is still there, and while I can't quite claim to be a professional cartoonist, I have gotten to draw things and bring the cartoonist philosphy and that rigorous work ethic to a lot of the work I've done for my clients.

I love experimenting with different styles of illustration. My tools of choice nowadays are a mouse and a wacom tablet, but I do occasionally pick up a pen and sketch pad as well.
